UI/UX Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team at Elula. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces and experiences for our cutting-edge education solution. Using your expertise in Sigma, Balsamic, Adobe Illustrator, Zeppelin, UserTesting, and Principle, you will contribute to creating exceptional digital experiences that revolutionize the way students, parents, and educators interact with our platform.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to gather requirements and translate them into user-centered design solutions.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and Balsamiq to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Develop visually appealing and consistent user interfaces using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Collaborate with developers and utilize Zeppelin to provide design specifications, style guide, and assets for smooth implementation.
- Conduct user research and usability testing using tools like UserTesting to gather feedback and validate design decisions.
- Iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, design reviews, and usability findings.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply them to enhance our product’s user experience.
- Collaborate with the CPO to maintain a consistent and cohesive design language across different features and platforms.
- Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects.
- Proficiency in Sigma, Balsamic, Adobe Illustrator, Zeplin, UserTesting, and Principle.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into design decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles is a plus!
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies.
